When running social media marketing for businesses, one of the hardest things is content creation. It can be somewhat difficult to create content every day for a business, however, there are some tricks that can be used to create multiple pieces of content from one piece of content. We will explain how a podcast can be used to create many different pieces of content.

First, there are many social media platforms to keep up with these days, it seems impossible to even try. However, some of the platforms make it a little easier to stay ahead of the game. On Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter you can schedule your posts out for a week or a month to stay ahead of the game. Unfortunately, LinkedIn is a platform without the ability to schedule posts. However, there are different apps you can use to schedule the posts out if need be.

With all of that being said, you can use the same content on each platform as long as you word them a little differently to work with the features of the platform. For example, let’s say you have the ability to make a daily or weekly podcast. The podcast can be dispersed through all the platforms in different ways. One way is, if you video the podcast you can post different clips you find valuable on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You will want to find more professional video clips for LinkedIn while finding more humorous ones for TikTok and Instagram Reels. You can also take the audio from the podcast and post it on different podcast apps, at the same time you can turn the audio into text, to create a blog. Once the podcast is converted to text for your blog, you can take quotes or lines from the podcast and create word-based posts for Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

So as you can see, creating a podcast can help you create so much more content. Especially, if you are creative enough to video the podcast and turn the audio into text. When you take those two extra steps you have multiple pieces of content for every platform you want to post on. Coming in the near future, the Cup O Code Office will have a podcast room (details coming soon).
