When it comes to starting your journey into marketing, one of the biggest things to remember is that there will be times you fail. No, I’m not trying to sound like a self-help book but this is something I feel is very important to realize early on.
There will be times in marketing (just like in life) that you will fail. A potential client will tell you no. A client will cancel their service with you. It happens to everyone. On my first day selling for Cup O’ Code I went 0/14 on cold calls. No one bats 1.000 and nobody’s perfect. Nothing else really to say. If you’re new to marketing and are reading this, it’s okay to fail sometimes as long as you don’t let it defeat you.
